I finally gave up on the whole "blog" idea, as it never really fit my needs. Thus far using a Wiki for my personal page has worked out pretty well. I did disable anonymous editing of the site, but would like to have certain pages be editable. I haven't had much luck with that so far, so I may just setup a separate wiki.
